    Sorcery?

See the windmill over there? That’s not just a windmill, it has a special function, and those thing isn’t always there. People of this mountain tribe built it only when the wind comes strong enough to destroy their land, so you can say that windmill is used to protect their growing crop. Nonsense! Or so you say..Have you ever see, people are searching for water using some special wooden stick? Have you ever see people calling for rain using eggs and flowers? The last one i’ve seen it myself, and i’m not kidding! Short story to tell…It was hot sunny day at the course, and the arena is dry as…

    The Unrealistic

I’m aware that this picture is edited way too much. Not because i want to ruin the original image, it’s meant to be an adjustment, an opening to bring your mind away, flying to the fairy tale land, right from the moment you look into it… Once upon a time, there lived a beautiful princess named Roro Jonggrang. Her beauty mesmerized a prince named Bandung Bondowoso, a magically powerful prince! He asked her to marry him, but to turn down the proposal without insulting the prince, Roro Jonggrang demanded a thousand temples to be built overnight.┬áBlinded by love, he agreed and immediately began to work. He summoned a multitude of…

    Don’t Stay Stuck!

I believe that the first thing that you look at this picture are those eyes. Yup, that’s the eyes of the dragon (or so i believe). In some believes, especially in Southeast Asia, they believe that dragons are the guardians of the gates in the universe, especially the sacred one like Heaven’s Gate.Eyes are windows of the soul, so when you look into their eyes, the dragon will see through your eyes, straight into your soul…”Cannot pass!” Says the dragon…Ughhh, must be suck if you can’t get into heaven, through it’s gate. Back into this world! I love doing my job as a travel operator, but when the world is…

    How Much?

First…Happy Eid Mubarak to all my Moslem friends around the globe! Now, as i will always have a story to tell in every picture that i took, this one too…It was a simple meal that i ate for breakfast while traveling in Borneo on a beautiful Sunday, just like today, in Kota Belud, Sabah. Visited the most popular farmers market in town, tried to get something to eat, and buy some souvenirs for my family. When it comes to Malaysia, the first thing that pops in my mind is Nasi Lemak! The most popular food in Malaysia. A spoonfull of Nasi Lemak will get your greedy mouth screaming for more. Add a…

    How Far Apart?

Just a silly question that appeared to me when i looked at this picture, i mean the distance between me, my milk maker, and that mighty mountain. Basically, it’s not that important, but when you have a lot of time and doing nothing, that silly question becomes more important than editing the image itself.Anyhow, i’ve done a little bit of editing for this picture, increased the brightness, adding more texture, adjusted the colors, putting more blue on the sky, also making that grass looks greener by increasing their saturation.Back on how far apart? From where i stand…i’m not gonna tell you, unless you think it’s important too čśŁ. #desadairyfarm #kundasang…

    Nature Painting

Well, actually it’s not a painting, just a normal picture of nature that i took while traveling back from Kundasang to Kota Belud. Now, since i have a lot of time for editing, i like to make it more looks like painting. Basically i have some of different result for this picture, but this one i like the most.Anyway, i’ll post it now and will give like to every pictures and stories that i find interesting in my timeline. For all of you who’s missing outdoor activity and the beauty of nature, i wish this picture could help.Hope that you all fine and keep taking pictures that can make you smile! #sabah…

A Journey to the Tip of Borneo

Hello and hi again! How's home bound life so far for you? We actually find it a bliss. Hahaha.. Just thinking about the kids now, since we're still unsure when the school will start again. But technology did make life more fun. They can meet their teachers and friends through video calls (and so did their daily task). :p Now, picking up from where we left off before, this time we will tell you about our interesting journey to the tip of Borneo...

Sabah Trip 2020 : Kota Kinabalu

We have our connecting flight by Scoot to Kota Kinabalu departing in the afternoon from Singapore. The flight was calm and enjoyable, and we managed to get a few hours of much needed nap. We arrived at Kota Kinabalu International Airport (BKIA) at 7.20pm. After breezed through immigration, we proceed to the arrival hall and headed to Digi counter to collect our pre-booked SIM card. Once activated, we went outside and ordered a Grab Car to our accommodation downtown...

Sabah Trip 2020 : the Genesis

Our first (and big chance that it will be our only) outing in 2020 is Sabah, one of the two Malaysian states that are located in North Borneo/Kalimantan, and bordering with our beloved Indonesia. We planned to do the trip from March 4th until March 12th.
